Empire State of Mind

This is the first post I’ve made with some of my own actual work. The first session of that Brooklyn Bridge and skyline piece took a while and I was pretty content with it. I went months with having it without the buildings filled in and planned to get it finished but wasn’t in a rush. It wasn’t until my man Muhammad from Rock City Ink crossed the bridge on a trip to NYC and decided he needed to finish this piece. He reached out to me and we made it happen. This is actually just part of the “Me against the world” theme I have going across my ribs and back. Check back for more pictures of the whole scene. For now, tell me what you guys think about the finished product with the buildings filled in.

This was the first session with Muhammad and lasted about 2 or 3 hours.

Final product with building filled in and lights on the bridge.
