Gone but Never Forgotten

I’ve been sitting on this post for almost a week now because I wanted to take my time and get it right. Morgan is a good friend of mine and with the serious meaning of this tattoo I wanted to do it justice. She chose the position of this tattoo to keep the people it’s dedicated to close figuratively and literally. The initials at the top of the heart are her mothers, who has been her best friend her entire life. Her parents divorced when she was very young and even though her father lives in the same area, he has never really been involved in her life. Her mother has been everything and more and therefore she decided to show her appreciation to the woman who made her who she is today. The quote is from a Phil Collins song her mom loves and would also sing to remind her and her siblings that no matter what they could count on her. The bottom heart is the initials of a friend that passed away three years ago.  Their moms are best friends so for the last 14+ years their families grew up together so he was more than just a friend. He was family. She got his initials to continue to remind her that life is short, and to always live it to the fullest because you never know when your time will come. No use sitting around wasting time and sulking on the things in life you can’t change, so live each day like it were you’re last, love like you’ve got nothing to lose, and laugh when you’ve lost it all, remembering the things that once made you smile. She also has a live love laugh tattoo which you’ll have to check back to see.
