Everyone has an opinion about tattoos other people get. One of the more controversial tattoo topics is whether its appropriate to get a significant others name tattooed. Some people would argue it’s a great idea if you really love the person and another large percent frown at the idea to get a permanent reminder of what just might not last. With the divorce rate as high as it is these days could you really blame them? At the same time a tattoo can simply be a way of capturing the present moment and if that does so happen to change it’s not the worst thing in the world to still cherish those good moments. My opinion is do what makes you happy and deal with your particular outcome later. What I would personally go for before I got an actual name tattooed is simply a tattoo with something that we both believe in that could represent us as a couple. Although it’s the same concept, this can easily be disguised later and what it represents to you will most likely remain the same with or without that person being in your life. This is a very subjective debate and there really is no right or wrong answer for what to do but I would love to hear your opinion on the subject.
